Intro Plus & High Rockies Adventure
Intro Plus + High Rockies Adventure is a thoughtfully designed progression for riders who want to refine their off-road skills and immediately apply them in one of the most breathtaking riding environments in North America. This combination pairs Rawhyde’s Intro Plus training with the immersive experience of the High Rockies Adventure, creating a smooth transition from advanced fundamentals to real-world alpine riding.
The experience begins with Intro Plus, where riders build on the foundation established in Intro to Adventure. This training focuses on improving consistency, control, and confidence across a wider range of terrain. Coaching emphasizes refined body position, traction management, braking on varied surfaces, hill technique, tighter turns, and reading terrain more effectively. The goal is to help riders feel calm, capable, and prepared as conditions become more dynamic.
From there, riders move directly into the High Rockies Adventure, taking those sharpened skills into Colorado’s high country. The tour showcases sweeping mountain valleys, forest roads, high elevation passes, and expansive backcountry routes framed by dramatic peaks and open alpine views. Cooler temperatures, changing elevations, and varied terrain provide the ideal environment to reinforce techniques learned during training while enjoying some of the most scenic riding available.
The tour is fully supported by Rawhyde’s experienced team. A lead coach sets the pace and guides the route, a sweep coach ensures group support and cohesion, and a support truck and trailer handle logistics and assistance as needed. This structure allows riders to focus on riding, learning, and enjoying the surroundings without worrying about planning or support.
Evenings offer time to relax, refuel, and connect with fellow riders, sharing stories from the trail and taking in peaceful mountain sunsets. Meals are thoughtfully prepared to keep riders energized and ready for full days in the saddle.
Intro Plus + High Rockies Adventure is ideal for riders who want more than just training or just a tour. It is for those who want to sharpen their skills, gain confidence, and immediately put it all to use in a stunning alpine setting. This combination delivers a complete Rawhyde experience that blends progression, exploration, and unforgettable mountain riding.
