Best of the West – CA to CO
All US-based Rawhyde training tours include private accommodations by default. Double occupancy is available upon request.
Rawhyde’s Best of the West experience is a 7 day training-tour that brings riders through many of the most iconic destinations in the American West. Death Valley, Las Vegas, the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, Antelope Canyon, Monument Valley, Four Corners and more all make an appearance on this unforgettable journey. Along the way, riders also tackle segments of four different BDR routes as well as sections of the Continental Divide. It truly is the Best of the West.
Because this is a Rawhyde training-tour, coaches provide on-trail instruction throughout the ride, making intentional stops before major terrain changes to review body positioning, control inputs, line choice, and safe navigation strategies for each environment. Riders apply their skills in real time across desert tracks, canyons, high-mountain passes, and sweeping backcountry pavement, turning the entire itinerary into a dynamic, real-world training environment.
We operate this tour twice per year as part of our seasonal migrations between our California and Colorado facilities. It typically runs once in late May as we open our Colorado center, and again in September as we close Colorado and return to California.
Our unique setup, owning and operating facilities in two of the most sought-after ADV destinations in the country, allows us to craft a seamless point-to-point itinerary with no one-way drop charges. And because this training-tour supports the movement of our fleet and staff between facilities, it also happens to be one of our most affordable multi-day adventures.
The result is a rare combination of legendary terrain, continuous skills development, and incredible value, all delivered through the Rawhyde training-tour experience.
